Rainbow's End
From where I was standing the rides looked terrifying and I felt frightened.
I was standing in front of the entrance to Rainbows End. I was with my cousins and my brother and we went there because we were being really good.
As my brother was paying for us a lady called Nicole put V.I.P stamp on us and a Rainbows End wristband.
As I was walking through the gate my jaw dropped because the fear fall was really high, so I got into the fear fall line as my brother was holding tight. I was getting frightened even more because the line was getting shorter and shorter.
When I heard the work “next” my stomach had really bad butterflies that were flying around.
When I got into the seat I wanted the man to push the button so I could get this ride over and done with! The fear fall was slowly getting higher and higher and I was getting braver and braver but once we went down I was yelling and screaming. I dropped so fast it felt like the butterflies were trying to get out at the top of my head. After the ride I felt happy because I faced my fears.

Story: Tongariro's Sleep Is Over.
Tongariro’s Sleep is Over
The last time this sleeping giant was awake was in 1897. Today just over a hundred years on I am standing in front of this volcano that local people call Mount Tongariro. The question the community is asking is why the mountain has suddenly woken up? Well it appears everyone is saying that Mt Tongariro looks depressed. The other question I am trying to get out of my head is why is Mt Tongariro covering Pihangas mountain with all his ash?
From where I am standing now, I can see loose rocks still tumbling down Tongariro’s ash covered slopes. The eruption lasted only five minutes but for those near by, time stood still as the cloud of ash exploded out of the Te Maari crater. Although no one was injured, this morning many people are still afraid there is more to come.
The eruption took everyone by surprise. A heavy cloud now covers much of the North Island. Locals have awoken to a blanket of thick ash covering the ground. Farmers are worried about their animals as it will be hard for them to find clean food and water.
Flights have been delayed, truck drivers have been turned around and locals are faced with a massive clean up. Tourists are being advised to stay away from the area for their own safety.
In recent weeks there has been an increase in seismic activity but the eruption surprised everyone. Volcanologists have headed to the mountain in search of more information to help put minds at rest.
Locals are hoping that their sleeping giant will remain sleeping, allowing them to begin the big clean up ahead of them.

Good morning Teachers and students. Think about the amount of litter we throw on the ground!!!! do we really need litter flying around in our gardens, and in the water were our sea creatures live. just think are we doing the right thing and are we respecting our environment.
This has became a problem because littering is a major issue in the world sadly the issue of littering may never go away but we can do something to decrease the effects.
Think about all that rubbish that goes flying around .why do we litter when we have a rubbish bin to throw our rubbish in.
Littering is bad because there are 100-700 of people who drop litter on the ground and that makes our animals die and our plants. One day there is going to be a tornado made out of rubbish because we are littering.
There are many marine animals confuse plastic bags,lolly wrappers,
bait packets,and rubber with prey and eat them. plastic bags and balloons look like jellyfish floating in the water turtles mostly eat them and choke or starve to death.
Plastic litter has increased by 165% since 1969 and if you consider the history of plastic and the fact that the sixties marked the beginning of their
commercialization.
would you like it if we were living in a world full of litter and pollution, well thats what I thought.
Well there are many ways you can solve this solution by putting any rubbish you see in the rubbish bin.

WHAT: A 5 year old boy got bitten on the face by a Pit bull and was rushed to middlemore hospital.
WHY or HOW it happened: It all happened because the boy was eating a pie than his family dog saw him eating and then he got attacked. what do you think the author wanted you to learn from this article? To stay away from an unknown dogs because they are vicious and might attack you.

Digital Technology
Digital Technology
On the first day at Technology I was nervous but I started to get used to it. At Tamaki college the school was like a building.The place that we were at was cold.We did lots of things at Tamaki just like photoshop and much much more. To me the computers were calling out for much work. This computer was white and loud. We pushed the button and all you heard was dingdongdingding and I laughed in my head because it was funny.
