How was the conflict resolved? What were the effects of the war? They were on Allied Forces, Great Britain, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Usa, Greece, Belgium and portugal. World war 2 started in 1939 and finished in 1945. World war 2 lasted for 6 years. About 60 million people were in the war. Over 1,000 people survived but more people died than survived over 50-80 people died. Germany invaded poland because they wanted their land back. All over the world but the fighting took place in Germany, France and Belgium. There were no peace makers in world war 2 because there was too much fighting. The Axis Powers, Germany, Japan, Italy and Greece.The The Allied countries formed a group called the united nations to help keep the peace.
